Standard: ASTM ASTM F436M
Material: 45# Steel, 50# Steel
Finish: Zinc Plain, H.D.G Phosphating, Black Plain, Galvanized
Hardness: HRC 38-45
Further, the F436 Material Grade washers can be used in combination with bolts like A449, A354, A193, A320, F1554 and whenever specified. These washers can either have a plain finish or can be hot dipped galvanized. The hardened flat ASTM F436 Washer is used under bolt nuts and head in order to increase the bearing area. It also offers hardness so that the bolt or the nut used can be rotated without the surface of the bearing being distorted.
